About this event

The Headwaters Glenorchy Eco Lodge are proud to be hosting the premiere screening of locally made film One In Ten

🎬 One in Ten follows Victoria, a 40-year-old woman whose life is increasingly shaped by the debilitating symptoms of undiagnosed endometriosis.

Through years of excruciating pain, Victoria searches for answers. She moves from GP to GP and explores different approaches to her health, all while struggling to be understood by the people around her.

Her journey eventually leads her to a compassionate gynaecologist who listens, advocates for her and pushes for the surgery she desperately needs. With a diagnosis finally in hand, Victoria is given the opportunity to understand her condition and reclaim her life.

Written and directed by Sarah D’Almeida, One in Ten was filmed in Glenorchy by a 13-person cast and crew, bringing together experienced professionals and crew new to filmmaking.

The film is a Red Shed Productions, in association with IEM.
