Each chalet features a king-sized bed dressed with high-quality linens and amenities, and rooms furnished with original New Zealand artworks. Ensuite bathrooms have walk-in rain showers. A private covered outdoor veranda opens up to stunning views of surrounding mountains, and secluded gardens rich in native landscaping are enhanced by sculptures, stone mosaic walkways, and a covered outdoor fireplace lounge.
A sumptuous hot breakfast is included.

Ideal for families and small groups of four guests, our one-bedroom chalet plus bunk room, ensures quiet, warmth and comfort throughout the year.
Designed in a beautiful rustic rural style, one room offers king or split single beds while the second room is fitted with a bunk bed sleeping two guests and shares the bathroom, heated floors, and covered outdoor veranda.
Both rooms share ensuite facilities.

These rooms have been constructed with creative, rustic charm. Recycled timbers from old bridges and farms nearby have been used in room details, infusing it with a quiet, warm and cosy atmosphere.
Guests have access to shared features throughout The Headwaters Eco Lodge such as an amenities block, washing and drying room, free wi-fi, Scheelite shelter with roaring fireplace, and peaceful places to relax and unwind.
Please note that these rooms do not have ensuite facilities.

A true wilderness experience on the West Coast
Fly from towering mountains to rugged coast and experience the thrill of glacier flyover as we traverse the full length of Milford Sound to meet the Tasman Sea. Land on a remote West Coast beach and breathe in the fresh sea air before flying back towards Glenorchy to touch down on snow with breathtaking panoramic views overlooking the Dart River and Lake Wakatipu.
